How We Source Rates
Our exchange rates are sourced from institutional-grade data providers and represent mid-market rates — the true exchange rate without any markup. This is the rate you should use as a benchmark when comparing providers.
📊 Mid-Market Rates
We display the midpoint between buy and sell prices from global forex markets. This is the "true" rate before any provider markup.
⏱️ Real-Time Updates
Rates update continuously during forex trading hours (Sunday 5pm ET to Friday 5pm ET). Weekend rates reflect Friday close.
🏦 Central Bank Data
Policy rates and yield data come from official central bank publications including the Fed, ECB, and Bank of England.
📈 Yield Differentials
Bond yield data for our rate driver analysis comes from government securities markets and central bank databases.
